The Radioactivity series explores how colour shapes our emotional and cultural responses to nature, using an unsettling green palette to sit between ideas of growth, illness, and environmental damage. Drawing on real cases of wildlife affected by human activity, the paintings reflect on how animals are often examined, collected, or mythologised rather than simply allowed to exist. By presenting these creatures with a quiet, uneasy tenderness, the work asks viewers to consider their own role in looking and what it means to witness harm without turning it into spectacle.
